Steam trap is applied to steam pipe network and equipment. Steam trap can drain automatically condensed water, air and other non-condensable gas. Steam trap can protect of water vapor leakage.
According to working principle of steam trap, steam trap can be divided into the following three types.
1.Mechanical type steam trap: mechanical type steam trap acts depending on the condensed water level changes in the steam trap.
2.Thermostatic steam trap: thermostatic steam trap acts depending on the liquid’s temperature changes.
3.Thermal dynamic steam trap: thermal dynamic steam trap acts depending on the liquid’s thermodynamic property changes.
4. Disc type team trap: because under the same pressure, the flow velocity of liquid is different from that of gas, and their dynamic and static pressure are different too, disc type steam trap justly acts depending on this different dynamic and static pressure.
