Introduction
Pneumatic ball valve is one type of ball valve assembly which is mounted with pneumatic actuator, achieving in the purpose of automatic control and remote control on the ball valve action.
There are two types of ball valves mounted with the pneumatic actuator, one type is the normal ball valve, before mounting with the pneumatic actuator, mounted with one pad firstly for mounting the pneumatic actuator. this type of ball valve assembly is the old type, but its costs is lower relatively. The other type is the ball valve is basically together with mounting pad when casting, no needing mounting the pad when mounting with the pneumatic actuator. This type of ball valve is more beautiful, and it's performance is more stable, for this, this type of ball valve assembly is more and more popular in the actuated ball valve marketing, although its prices are higher.
There are two types of pneumatic actuators mounted with the ball valves, one type is single action pneumatic actuator (which is also called spring return pneumatic actuator); the other type is double action pneumatic actuator. Normally, the clients select the spring return pneumatic actuator, because this type of pneumatic actuator needs only one air supply.
